5. American Veterans (AMVETS) Scholarships. The American Veterans, better known as AMVETS, have been providing annual scholarships to veterans and active military personnel, including their sons, daughters, and grandchildren.
6. Edith Nourse Rogers STEM Scholarship. The Edith Nourse Rogers STEM Scholarship program was launched by the Veterans Affairs to aid qualified students in high demand STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) fields.
7. Green to Gold Scholarship Programs. Designed for enlisted soldiers in the Army, the Green to Gold Scholarship Program gives opportunities to interested soldiers to pursue a baccalaureate or graduate degree and earn a commission as an Army Officer.
8. Raytheon Patriot Scholarship. The partnership between the Student Veterans of America and Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD) has resulted in the launching of the Raytheon Patriot Scholarship.
9. 2020 NBC Universal SVA Scholarship. Another scholarship from the Student Veterans of America is the 2020 NBC Universal SVA Scholarship. This time, this effort and initiative are made possible through their partnership with NBC Universal.
10. Google-SVA Scholarship. In partnership with Google, the Student Veterans of America established a scholarship for student veterans who pursue a degree in the field of computer science called the Google-SVA Scholarship.

1. AFCEA Military Personnel Scholarships. Deadline: May 1st. The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) Educational Foundation distributes annual merit-based Military Personnel Scholarships to active duty uniformed military servicemen and women or honorably discharged military veterans who are currently enrolled in an accredited degree program related to engineering, computer science, or technology.
2. AMVETS Scholarships. Deadline: April 30th. Each year, seven AMVETS Scholarships are awarded for up to $4,000 each to active duty military personnel, honorably discharged veterans, reserves, spouses, and children or grandchildren who demonstrate financial need for tuition assistance to afford enrollment into any accredited degree program.
3. Army Staff Sgt. Special Agent Richard S. Eaton Jr. Scholarship. Deadline: January 31st and July 31st. In memory of U.S. Army Counterintelligence Staff Sgt.
4. Army Women’s Foundation Legacy Scholarship. Deadline: January 15th. With the mission of honoring the service of women in the Army, the Army Women’s Foundation Legacy Scholarship program grants up to $2,500 to assist female undergraduate or graduate students at accredited U.S. institutions who are serving or have served in the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Reserve, or Army National Guard.
5. Chief Petty Officer Scholarship Fund. Deadline: April 1st. Annually, the Chief Petty Officer Scholarship Fund offers up to 60 scholarships for $2,000 each to improve access to educational opportunities for dependent children, adopted children, step-children, and non-uniformed spouses of an active duty or veteran Chief, Senior Chief, or Master Chief Petty Officer of the U.S. Navy.
6. Dolphin Scholarship Fund. Deadline: March 15th. On a competitive basis, the Dolphin Scholarship Fund provides up to 115 annual scholarships for $3,400 to unmarried children or stepchildren under the age of 24 who are dependent on active duty members of the Navy’s Submarine Force that have served in submarine support activities for at least eight years.
7. Fisher House Foundation Scholarships for Military Children. Deadline: February 28th. Funded through the generosity of the Defense Commissary Agency, the Fisher House Foundation awards several Scholarships for Military Children for up to $2,000 a piece to unmarried sons and daughters of active duty, reserve/guard, or retired military commissary customers who will be enrolled full-time in a four-year undergraduate degree program.
8. Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund. Deadline: June 30th. In honor of the bravery exhibited by members of the U.S. Armed Forces, the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund awards up to $25,000 to young Americans who are the dependent children of an active duty service member who was killed or permanently disabled as the result of an operational mission or training accident.
9. General George S. Brown Spouse Tuition Assistance Program. Deadline: March 7th. Administered by the Air Force Aid Society, the General George S. Brown Spouse Tuition Assistance Program (STAP) provides up to $5,000 for selected spouses of active duty U.S. Air Force service members who are currently residing overseas.
10. Hope for the Warriors Spouse/Caregiver Scholarships. Deadline: April 1st. Each year, the Hope for Warriors Foundation offers the Spouse/Caregiver Scholarships in recognition of military spouses and caregivers for their strength and resolve despite adversity as financial assistance for continuing education at an accredited U.S. institution.
